Disclaimer: I throw Yamada Ryosuke to the depths of Inferno. I don't want to own him ktnxbai. Umika is untouchable or my douche lord will kill me.
It was 12 midnight and her eyes are starting to fall. She curses in frustration. What happened to all the caffeine she took? She drops her pen and did a little stretching, and to her surprise a rabbit was tumbling around, making its way to their dining room. Another can of coffee lay on the table and she drank it. Whatever will help to keep her awake. But then everything started to grow bigger, no wait, Umika was shrinking!
“I think…. I had too much caffeine…”
She finds herself in a huge courtroom, with a petite guy (who looks like Ryosuke’s best friend, Yuri. Weird, she thinks to herself) dressed like a queen.
“You are guilty of incest! You are to be executed in my kingdom!” Queen Yuri says.
As people who look like Palace guards come up to take her, Umika tries to escape. Her legs felt like jelly, she could run as fast as she willed her legs to, then all of a sudden the place started to fall apart, as if it was being eaten by a black hole. Even the Queen was fading.
Umika was falling, deeper, and deeper. It was pitch black and she has no idea where she’s about to land. The next thing she knows she’s on flat, hard ground and it seems like she fell down with her butt first. She looks up and realizes she’s no longer in wonderland, but in her house. Wait, she’s at the corridor, near the door of her and her brother’s room. How did she get there? Umika shakes off the disorientation and looks up to the figure in front of her.
“R-Ryosuke Onii-chan… What happened? I was just studying and then a rabbit took me… ” She asks.
“You were dreaming. You’ve been studying too much. You have to take a break, you know.” Says Ryosuke, her older brother, and apparently, her secret boyfriend.
“O-oh… how did I get here? And why am I on the floor?” Ryosuke helps her get up.
“I was carrying you to my room when you suddenly twitched and fell. What were you dreaming about anyway?” He walks towards Umika and tucks a stray hair behind her ear. Although it was midnight and there were only a few lights on, he could see her beautiful face. Even with weak light, it can illuminate from the dark.
“I was dreaming… that I was in wonderland. It was so surreal…“ Umika struggles to remember the dream she just had, but alas she’s not the kind who remembers dreams.
To her, there was only one dream she will remember for life, and it was real. He was in front of her, inching closer, and closer…
“I can’t remember anymore. And wait… did you just say you were about to bring me to YOUR room?! ” Umika retorts. She distances herself from Ryosuke, not knowing she was about to fall for yet another trap.
“I figured you were stressed so I wanted to make you feel better when you wake up, okay! Not that it matters, I can do it now…” He draws nearer, until Umika is cornered. She noticed that behind her was the door to Ryosuke’s room, and there was no escaping. Ryosuke turns the knob and gently pushes Umika into his room, and onto his bed.
“You bully.”
Their faces, only separated by a very thin layer of air, or maybe tension, makes the blood rush up to Umika’s face. But she was indeed stressed, and this was making her feel better.
So maybe what they have is wrong, maybe it’s not normal, like her dream, people may condemn her in real life if they found out, but with her and Ryosuke? Her world was perfect. She was happy.
“Fine, what can you do for me, then? ” She softly asks.
The distance between them closes as he kisses her and answers: “Well, I can take you to a wonderland you can surely remember. |
