Giải thưởng âm nhạc MBC Plus x Genie Music Award lần đầu tiên tổ chức trong năm nay với sự góp mặt của nhiều nghệ sĩ nổi tiếng!
Lễ trao giải được tổ chức tại Namdong Gymnasium ở Incheon vào tối ngày 6/11. BTS đã xuất sắc giành được nhiều giải thưởng nhất, với 5 giải trong đó có hai giải thưởng danh giá nhất (Daesang) Best Artist of the year và Best Digital Album of the year, cùng các giải khác Best Male Dance Performance, Genie Music Popularity Award và Best Male Group.
Nhà sáng lập Big Hit Entertainment Bang Shi Hyuk cũng giành chiến thắng giải thưởng Producer of the year, trong khi đó Son Sung Deuk được trao giải Best Choreography cho "IDOL - BTS"
Twice rinh về cho mình ba giải thưởng đó là Daesang Best Selling Artist of the year, Best Female Group và Best Global Performance.
Wanna One cũng xuất sắc chiến thắng ba giải thưởng Daesang Song of the year, Best Male Vocal Performance cho ca khúc "Beautiful" và MBC Plus Star Award
